Interiors from Spain will once again be present at Downtown Design 2025 during Dubai Design Week, from 5 to 9 November, with an installation designed by award-winning local Swiss Bureau Interior Design (SBID). This year’s participation will showcase ten leading Spanish brands: APE Grupo (porcelain tiles); Ondarreta, OGO, and Punt Mobles (furniture); iSiMAR and OISIDE (outdoor furniture); Lladró, LZF and Marset (lighting); and Nanimarquina (rugs). Each firm brings its own distinctive essence, yet all are united by a shared commitment to craftsmanship, durability, and the timeless values of Spanish design.

At the heart of the installation is “Espejos” (Mirrors), inspired by reflection and Spain’s creative spirit. The structure is divided into four quadrants—two interiors and two exteriors—linked by a central mirrored courtyard that ties the whole experience together. Blending tradition and innovation, the design draws on Gaudí’s vibrant palette, the passion of flamenco, and the surreal imagination of Spanish art, offering visitors an immersive encounter with Spain’s bold and dynamic identity.
